Respite Coordinator /
The Respite Program provides services to parents caring for a child/adult with a disability. 

Job Summary: The Coordinator will coordinator Family Day Out, a Saturday Center based respite program for children matched with a volunteer buddy, giving the child a day of recreation and the parents a day of respite.  The Coordinator will also perform intake visits.  In addition, the Coordinator will act as back-up to the billing coordinator by preparing vouchers and parent checks.

Education and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a college degree, experience working in a non-profit environment, and have experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or children. 

Bilingual in Spanish required

Position:
Fort Bend Social Worker

Job Summary
1) Has primary responsibility of expanding current case management program.
2) Serves as a case manager in accordance with established service delivery standards (e.g. by Medicaid, private insurance companies, etc.) and implements standard case
management procedures: assessment, care planning and implementation, client advocacy, documentation, etc.
3) Serves as a leader for a variety of groups, including but not limited to play groups, parent and sibling support groups, and an adult quality of life group.
4) Serves as an Information and Referral resource to individuals with disabilities and families caring for individuals with disabilities.
5) Maintains effective working relationships both within the agency and with the Fort Bend and Houston communities to achieve team approach to service delivery.
6) Attends agency conferences and meetings; participates in in-service training and seminars.
7) Prepares and submits required statistical reports on case management and counseling activities.
8) Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
1) Must be a licensed social worker.
2) Experience in comprehensive case management with individuals with disabilities (particularly case management funded by Medicaid), knowledge of appropriate Fort Bend and Houston community resources preferred.
3) Good writing and verbal communication skills, bilingual Spanish, a plus.
4) Basic computer skills.
5) Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
6) May be required to work some evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Hours: 40/week (*Agency works 4-day Mon-Thu week)

Data Entry Billing Clerk for the Billing Department with the ECI Infant Development Program.
