1) Child Development Specialist: provides developmental evaluations, instruction and case management for children (age 0-3) with developmental delays. Provides parent education and family support. Position
requires local travel to various local sites including consumers' homes. Must have reliable transportation. $1176-1388 biweekly
Allied Health: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and licensed as an assistant in the State of Texas Clerical/Secretarial, Must be a high school graduate and have at least one to two years clerical/secretarial experience. 1) Clerical Support: Performs a combination of clerical tasks to
support office or administrative operations such as: searching for and compiling information and data, responding to routine requests with standard answers by telephone, in person or by correspondence. Must possess demonstrated
clerical/secretarial experience. Must be bilingual. $795-876 biweekly ECI of MHMRA's Therapy Services Department Physical Therapist:
Requires degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program and licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas. Provides physical therapy services to children birth to three with developmental delays. Duties include providing evaluation/assessment and recommendation of frequency, intensity and duration of services. Participating as part of a multidisciplinary service delivery team, training parents and staff and developing treatment plans. Carries and is responsible for a caseload. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish helpful but not required. Minimum Starting Salary: $55,020 plus experience
Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA:
Requires degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas. Provides physical therapy and assistive technology services to children birth to age three with developmental delays under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Responsible for participating in initial evaluations, annual evaluations/re-evaluations and IFSP meetings. Carries and is responsible for a caseload. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish helpful but not required. Minimum Starting Salary: $37,308 plus experience
Occupational Therapist:
Requires a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program and licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas. Provides occupational therapy and assistive technology to children birth to age three with developmental delays. Responsible for conducting and/or participating in initial evaluation, annual evaluation/re-evaluations and IFSP meetings. Carries and is responsible for a caseload. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish helpful but not required. Minimum Starting Salary: $50,160 plus experience
Occupational Therapy Assistant/COTA:
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Texas. Provides occupational therapy services to children birth to three with developmental delays under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Responsible for participating in initial evaluation, annual evaluation/re-evaluations and IFSP meeting. Carries and is responsible for a caseload. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish helpful but not required. Minimum Starting Salary: $33,792 plus experience
ECI of MHMRA's Speech Pathology Department Licensed Speech Language Pathologist:
Requires a Master's degree in Speech Pathology, certification as a CCC-SLP from ASHA and must be licensed in the State of Texas. Provides hearing, speech and language services to children birth to three with developmental delays. Duties include performing assessments to determine speech and language delays, evaluating hearing, training parents and staff and developing treatment plans. Carries and is responsible for a caseload. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Minimum Starting Salary: $50,160
Speech Language Pathologist-CFY:
Requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, and Licensed as an intern in Speech Pathology. Function on an interdisciplinary team to assess communication skills/needs of children birth to age three with developmental delays. Make appropriate referral and follow-up for children and families needing additional services. Provide consultation to staff and parents to enhance language learning in the natural environment. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Minimum Starting Salary: $48,552
Speech Language Assistant:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology and licensed as an assistant in the State of Texas. Provides hearing, speech and language services to children birth to age three with developmental delays. Duties include implementing the activities to address strategies developed by the interdisciplinary team. Will also provide direct service to children with weekly supervision provided by the SLP responsible for the plan. Requires reliable transportation to travel to families' homes and flexible hours. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Minimum Starting Salary: $41,160
